Ajiboye stunned by NPFL All-Stars snub
Warri Wolves goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has revealed that he was stunned not to be listed by the NPFL All-Stars bound for a series of friendlies in Spain next month.
However, former Shooting Stars and Nasarawa United star Ajiboye, who has been outstanding in goal for Warri Wolves this season, wished the invited players well.
“I am surprised that I wasn’t on the squad of the NPFL stars for the friendly matches in Spain. With all my performances and effort in the league this season, I believe I should be on the list,” the experienced shot stopper said.
“But all the same, I wish the invited players all the best in the game.”
The goalkeepers on the NPFL squad are Emeka Nwabulu (Wikki Tourists), Theophilus Afelokhai (Enyimba), Ikechukwu Ezenwa (FC IfeanyiUbah) and Okiemute Odah (Lobi Stars).
