Agent of social change relocates to an undisclosed location amid fears of recurring violent attacks

An agent of social and political change simply identified as Douglas Nosayaba Edobor has reportedly relocated with members of his immediate family from Lagos State to an undisclosed location over incessant attacks on his life by suspected thugs of the ruling party APC in Lagos State.

It will be recalled that the agent of social and political change in his community in Lagos State had on several occasions before and after the general elections of March 28th 2015 presidential election and April 11th 2015 governorship elections been exposed to several death threats.

Confirmed report in his immediate community however revealed that he became a victim of his own political ideology over his unrelenting roles in the mass social enlightenment and campaigns at the grassroot level in his community and beyond against the ruling party in the state and the need for an urgent change by voting out bad leaders.

This according to a source who craved anonymity incurred him the wrath of many in the ruling class who perceived him as a monumental threat to their political ambition hence a violent attack was allegedly launched against him by hoodlums.

Unfortunately, on April 9th 2015 he was assaulted on his way home from work and his car set ablaze while he was on wheels as his attackers left him behind to burn to death in the raging inferno, it was gathered.

However, it took the resilience and courage of sympathizers and passers-by who rescued him from the raging inferno and immediately rushed him to County hospital in Lagos where he received urgent medical attention to stabilize him for several weeks before he was eventually given a clean bill of health to go home.

Meanwhile in November 30th 2019, after the shock of recovery from the jaw of death following the attack on his life by suspected thugs, he was threatened over his refusal to pay up levies not authorized by the State government as another violent attack was orchestrated by thugs in his private residence on December 4th 2019 leading to the complete burning down of his property and total loss of all of his life savings and struggles in the city of Lagos State.

However, providence ensured that he and members of his family were not at home when the heinous and dastardly attack of December 4th 2019 which led to the alleged killing of a neighbor was carried out. It was said that these hoodlums came shooting sporadically causing pandemonium within the community.

It was gathered that owing to the continued threats to the life of the agent of social and political change in his immediate environment and beyond, Douglas Nosayaba Edobor was reported to have relocated with members of his immediate family to his home town in Benin City having lost all of his life savings to the dastardly and heinous attempt on his family as his safety was no longer guaranteed by anyone even by the security agents in the state.

However, Recent findings, according to sources close to his family members in Benin City, revealed that the high rates of unresolved crimes which include kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism, murder, rape and an attempted abduction of Douglas Nosayaba Edobor at a Bus Stop in Benin City compelled him to relocate to an undisclosed location as he continued to receive life threatening messages and calls from faceless individuals.
