Adamawa, Poland govt to partner in the area of economic development

The government of Poland have agreed to partner with Adamawa State government in the areas of agriculture, mining, technology transfer for the sole aim of economic development and legislative trainings for the state’s legislators.

The member of the state House of Assembly, Hon Sunday Peter, who represented the Adamawa State Governor, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, in Poland, led the state’s delegation to discuss economic ties with the government of that country alongside representatives from Kaduna, Sokoto and others from the Bank of Agriculture.

The state’s Commissioners of Commerce and Industry, and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and the Principal Personal Secretary (PPS) to the Governor were part of the delegation that met with some Polish Senators and discussed on how to foster bilateral relations with Poland.

According to the legislator, the bilateral relationship will harness the many agricultural potentials in the state and to uncover the untapped its mineral resource.
