AD Guber Candidate, Olusola Oke Weeps Over Bad Road Network In Ondo Community

 

Olusola Oke, the governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Ondo State has lamented the poor condition of roads that led to Epe in Ondo East at the Bolorunduro Headquarters.

Oke expressed bitterness at the dearth of social amenities in the community and picketed the current government of Governor Olusegun Mimiko for the woes in the areas.

The AD governorship aspirant spoke on Monday at the palace of the Regent of Epe, Chief Raphael Olabanji, during a campaign tour.

The Daily Times correspondent reported that the Alliance for Democracy (AD) governorship candidate shed tears during the forty minutes drive to the agrarian community.

The Agro business city owned by the Ondo State government is situated at Elepe area of the community.

Oke queried why Mimiko’s government would neglect Epe community in view of its agricultural potentials adding that he is ready to tap from the natural resource deposited in the area if elected.

He asked the people of the community to exercise their franchise by voting in the Alliance For Democracy in the November 26th 2016 governorship election with a promise to correct all the anomalies.

He told the people of the community to reject moneybag politicians who are out to induce the electorates with funds and in return plunge the state into debts.

“You have to jealously guard your voter’s cards to be able to vote in the Governor that will make life better for Ondo State citizens.

“The Alliance For Democracy (AD) has come to represent good governance and development in rural and urban areas of the state.

“My mission is to turn around things by ensuring all-round development and give our people (youths, women, and children) a new lease of life”, Mr. Okay said.

He add that the issues surrounding his candidature as the main flag bearer of the party have been settled adding that all the aggrieved members have resolved to work for his victory in the election.

Chief Olabanji later gave his royal blessing to Mr. Oke and appealed to him to remember the community in terms of meaningful developmental projects if emerged as the governor of the state.

Thousands of supporters later received Mr. Oke at Bolorunduro where he told the people that the Alliance For Democracy (AD) remained the only party to beat in the forthcoming governorship election.

Many of the supporters in the community pleaded with the governorship candidate to help them develop their area moat especially in terms of road network and constant electricity.
