Access Bank Board Reviews Financial Statements for 2016

The board of directors of Access Bank Plc has concluded a plan to consider and approve the bank group audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2016.
A statement from the company said the meeting which is scheduled for Thursday, January 26, 2017, will also consider other agenda items, including payment of final dividend.
The statement signed by the Company Secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, said the company has declared the closure period from January 4, 2017, to such date as will be subsequently announced as required under Rule 17.2 of the Amendment to listing Rules of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
The statement added that “Accordingly, no director, employee, persons discharging managerial responsibility and adviser of the company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of the company in any manner during the closed period.
