Abia couple hospitalized over kerosene explosion cries for help

A 43- year- old carpenter Uchendu Jacob and his 32 years old wife, Chidinma are now battling with kerosene explosion and has appealed to the general public to help them with hospital bills.

According to the couple who are now recuperating at Madonna hospital, Umuahia, Abia state, having been rushed there around 3am on the 4th of August, 2018, they were in severe pains and terrible shape.

Speaking, Jacob said on that faithful day after the day’s work, he went to Isigate axis of Umuahia metropolis to buy a bottle of kerosene for their lantern, but at around 11pm that night, his wife woke up to refill the lantern with the Kerosene he bought, and the next he heard while sleeping in his sitting room was an explosion and the shout of fire from his wife.
