Adamawa lawmaker bags national democrat award

Adamawa lawmaker representing Demsa constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon Lumsambani Mijah Dilli has bagged the National Democrat award.

A group of Northern Youths under the auspices of North-East Youths Council of Nigeria, whose motto portrays youth orientation for good governance and peaceful coexistence, gave him the award yesterday.

The apex umbrella body of youth cutting across six states within the north east namely Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba and Borno are recognizing people with ingenuity, selfless and visionary leadership qualities.

The president of the Association while reading the citation of Hon Dilli, Comrade Aliyu Aaron said the nomination was conceived based on his strides of lawmaking in the House of assembly and his support for humanity, capacity development in Demsa and Adamawa state.
