Kano Golf Club elects Magashi as captain

Kano Golf Club elects Magashi as Captain Ali Mohammed Magashi has emerged as the new captain of Kano Golf Club in an unopposed election.

The oldest golf club choose the Aeronautical and Telecommunications Engineering graduate of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology to take charge of its affairs. Others elected members of the new Management Committee which held during the annual general meeting of the club at the club house are; Mr Khalil Muslimani – Vice Captain; Dr Yahaya Tanko – Secretary; M. S. Muhammed – Course Officer; Auwalu Badawa – Competition Secretary; Dr Mustapha Muhammad Lawan – Public Relations Officer; Gambo Muhammed – Handicap Secretary; Rabiu Mohammed Diyam – Treasurer; Kehinde O. Habib – Bar Secretary and Victor Oladele and Kamaluddeen Sani as Committee members.

Meanwhile, Ali Magashi who is also Chairman of ASO Savings and Loans Plc, has pledged to develop the game of Golf in Kano to the fullest.
