The Police Prosecutor, Insp. Caleb Leranmo, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Jan.8, in Ikole-Ekiti.
He alleged that the defendants, with guns, robbed one Omojola Ayomide, of his phone and other valuables.

He added that the defendants confessed that they were members of the Ile-Nla confraternity, a secret cult.

The pleas of the defendants were, however, not taken.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Abdulhamid Lawal, ordered that the defendants be remanded in custody, pending an advice from the office of the DPP.
He, thereafter, adjourned the case till Feb. 6, for mention.
