Senator Sunny Ogbuorji is rejected by his family, says Gov. Umahi

Re-elected Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi, has mocked the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the just concluded governorship election in the state Senator Sunny Ogbuorji, saying both the senator’s immediate family and the entire people of Ebonyi state have since rejected him.
The Governor was reacting to a statement credited to Senator Ogbuorji that Umahi was planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC after his swearing in, May 29, this year.
In a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki by Umahi’s Chief Press Secretary, Emma Uzor, the governor described Ogborji as a mole in APC.
Ogbuorji had earlier at a press conference in Enugu alleged that Umahi has made all arrangement to defect to APC, ahead of May 29th.
Umahi’s statement said, “Expectedly, a man rejected by both his family members and the generality of Ebonyi State like Senator Sonni Ogbuorji, the APC Governorship candidate in the last governorship election in Ebonyi State has begun his immodest naked dance in the market place.
“As usual, pain of defeat, especially in the magnitude Ogbuorji was trounced by the Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi has started to manifest and so, the centre can no longer hold as regards Ogbuorji’s state of mind.
“Rather than accept the verdict of the entire people of the state as expressed in their ballots of last Saturday, Ogbuorji has taken his frustration far beyond the shores of the state,” the governor added.
