Ebonyi APC is practising satanic opposition, says Gov Umahi

Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Umahi, Wednesday said that the sort of opposition being practised by the Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), amounted to nothing other than satanism.

Speaking at the 42nd meeting of the state executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the party’s secretariat in Abakaliki, the state capital, Umahi stated that though he had so much respect for President Muhammadu Buhari, the Ebonyi state government would leave nothing to chance in dealing with anybody who went against the law of the land.

Umahi noted that it was obvious the APC had failed Nigerians woefully and maintained that the only option left for the country’s citizenry was for them to vote PDP to power, adding that there was no element of truth in the rumours recently making the round that he was leaving his party to the APC.

According to him, “I must commend the party members for their doggedness. The doggedness of the Exco members, House of Assembly members, is quite remarkable. You have all done us proud. Our council chairmen, you have done us proud”.

“I want to thank the very loyal party chairman highly. When I was coming, I saw a lot of activities around this area; it is a sign that we are in charge. We are doing more than we have in the state”.

The governor said the essence of the meeting was to avoid the ugly incidents that happened in 2015, from repeating, saying in the last general elections a lot of people worked vehemently against the party, “but today, they are the worst hit”.
