Asante Kotoko lose Asare in bus accident
Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko were involved in a fatal traffic accident Wednesday night when their team bus struck a stationery vehicle on the return trip from a league match against Inter Allies.
The vehicle was en route to Kumasi from Accra, where the team had suffered a 1-0 defeat, with the accident occurring in Nkawkaw.
It has been confirmed that Kotoko’s assistant kit man, Kofi Asare, was sadly killed in the accident.
