93 Days movie out with thriller

93 Days, the highly anticipated movie on the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria is finally out with a thriller. The movie tells the true life story of men and women who risked their lives and made sacrifices to save the citizens of Nigeria from the consequences of the outbreak of the highly dreaded Virus.
Produced by Steve Gukas, Pemon Rami, Bolanle Austen-Peters and Dotun Olakunri, the film takes us back to 2014, from the period the news broke about the virus in Nigeria to immediate measures put in place to stop the spread.
The film recounts the heroic roles played by the Late Dr. Adadevoh and her team at the First Consultant Hospital, former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, former President Goodluck Jonathan, then Minister of Health and Lagos State Commissioner of Health in saving the country from a major epidemic which was eradicated 93 days after the disease was imported into the country.
Hollywood actor, Danny Glover, Bimbo Akintola, Tim Reid, Somkele Iyamah Idhalama, Alastair Mackenzie, Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey, Bimbo Manuel, Charles Okafor, Gideon Okeke, and other talented actors all-star in the movie.
Directed by Steve Gukas, 93 Days is a must-watch as the movie tells the story of a major landmark in the history of Nigeria.
Veteran actress Bukky Ajayi is dead
Barely a month the movie industry was shocked by the sudden demise of Henrietta Kosoko, another shocking death on Wednesday hit the make believe industry as the cold hand of death snatched veteran actress, Bukky Ajayi, away.
Kunle Fawole, popularly known as Abounce (actor and rapper), who is the son of the actress, confirmed her passing away to Nollywood, saying “Mumsy passed away God knows best“.
The eloquent actress touched many hearts this year at the AMVCA after she got a standing ovation for her Industry Merit Award.
She said: “I wish I could stand up. But if I stand up I will fall down. Are you all standing for me? Thank you. I am very very grateful to you.”
Mama Bukky Ajayi, as she is fondly referred to, studied drama at the Institute of Drama, London. She later worked a while in London before coming to Nigeria where she started a broadcasting career as an announcer, presenter and newscaster at Nigerian Television Authority. Ajayi was a part of the now rested TV series, Village Headmaster. She was seen by many as a living legend of the Nigerian film industry.
The late actress was on Wednesday evening buried in line with Muslim rites at the Atan cemetery in Yaba, Lagos.
