3SC confident Ogunbote will stay put
Shooting Stars have expressed confidence they will hold on to coach Gbenga Ogunbote, who steered them to safety in the premier league for the second straight season.
Ogunbote has now been tipped to replace under-fire Paul Aigbogun at Enyimba.
His contract at Shooting Stars has expired and he said he is a free agent.
“My contract has expired with 3SC and nothing has been said about a renewal yet. Therefore, I am a free agent now,” the coach said.
“Offers have started coming from different clubs but nothing is official yet.
However, 3SC spokesman Jubril Arowolo has now said they hope Ogunbote will stay put at the Ibadan based club.
