3000 widows benefit from TABITHA global empowerment programme -Cleric

The General Overseer of Spirit and Life Family Bible Church, Apostle Mrs Deb’rah Godon-Osagiede has said that no fewer than 3000 widows have benefited from TABITHA global empowerment programme of the church.

Godon-Osagiede made this known when members of the correspondent’s chapel, Edo council visited to congratulate her on her recent award as the US congressional 2019 global Woman of Excellence.

She said the programme was currently running in 19 locations in the six area councils of the federal capital territory FCT.

“I moved to Abuja about 15 years ago and I met some widows and extremely young mothers who were really vulnerable, helpless and hopeless.

“A greater number of them were those affected by the Boko Haram insurgency and those who lost their husbands to HIV.
