Youths stop Delta Police Commissioner from visiting scene of communal clash

SOME armed Isaba youths on Tuesday allegedly prevented the Delta State
Commissioner of Police, Zanna Mohammed Ibrahim, from inspecting the extent of damage on Ayama, Epame and Aladja communities.
It was gathered that the youths who were strategically positioned
with sophisticated weapons made CP Ibrahim, who was on an assessment
visit to the troubled communities, to withdraw his men and every person on his entourage to prevent casualties.
Some of the armed youths reportedly ran into the bush while others remained, shooting sporadically on sighting the Commissioner of Police.
CP Ibrahim later at Delta State Government House Annex in Warri threatened to arrest
leaders of Isaba, Aladja, Ayama and Epame communities if they breach the law.
