We believe in National integration, Unity, Providing Prosperity to Nigerians – Ganduje

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has said the Party believe in National integration, unity and progress, providing Prosperity to Nigerians.
He also said the country is working, as it believe in internal democracy, pointing that Nigerians are happy as they are seeing result of the reform.
Ganduje stated this at the Party National Secretariat, Buhari House Abuja on Wednesday, while receiving Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the Red Chamber to the APC.
Senator Nwoko dumped the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to the ruling Party, APC, while he officially, informed the Senate of his departure.

Recall that news of his defection dominated a section of the social media, few weeks ago.
The first term Senator, elected on the platform of the PDP in 2023 made known his new political destination in a notice of departure addressed to the President of the Senate.
The National Chairman said: “Our Party believes in national integration, unity, progress and providing prosperity to the people of Nigeria.
“When you came to my house and informed me that a big fish, Whale, and Shark, together will be coming into our Party, I was so delighted, I was so happy, in fact, I started dreaming of this day, Wednesday.
“Luckily enough, some few hours ago, I was informed, that you would be coming. And I told some people to watch what was happening in the campus, the summit, because you told me you declared there. So we are happy to receive you.
“You are most welcome, Senator Ned Nwoko. You are welcome to our great Party. There’s no doubt our great Party is the most nationalistic party, that spreads all over the country.
” We are happy that our oil production is high, refineries working and security, improving.
So, the country is working. This is our party. We believe in internal democracy.”
Ganduje also said the chapter of the Party in Delta State will implement internal democracy noting that: “We request you, stakeholders, to come together to cooperate, because we had two Senators, but now, we have three.
“If every Senator will go back to his constituency and work very hard, you know the outcome. As we promised, we will take over Delta State. We assure you of maximum cooperation.
“You go back to your State, organize yourselves and invite us for a mega rally. We know funding, organization and commitments are not problems’, what we are looking forward to, is highly organized Party structure in the State, composed of men and women, especially young men who will go from house to house, to show that APC dominates almost everywhere.”
In his response, Senator Nwoko said he is happy, joining the APC as he will replicate what they had done, years ago, to win elections in other Party will be replicated in the APC, saying; “I was elected because I want to make a difference, “whatever we have done in the past to win elections in the State, we will do it now for APC.”
When asked if Governor of the State, Sheriff Oborevwori will be welcomed, if he comes to join the ruling Party, he said: “Oborevwori shouldn’t, because, he will not be welcomed.
The Delta Governor has no capacity to be Governor, I won’t welcome him in APC.
“We have projects that I told him that are needed to be done for the people which he refused to do.”
He stressed that he has no interest in becoming either Governor of Delta or the proposed Anioma State, if created.
