Upamecano agrees to sign new deal, blow for Arsenal?
Dayot Upamecano agrees to sign a contract extension with RB Leipzig, seems like Arsenal have been handed a major blow in their pursuit for the defender.
Upamecano who has been outstanding for Leipzig this summer of helping the Bundesliga side to reach quarter-finals of the Champions League as well as challenging for the top-flight title, was been chased by Arsenal for signature.

Germany machines Bayern Munich were also keen to land the Frenchman during the summer but couldn’t pay a £52.3m release clause for a player who was going to be out of contract in 12 months.
The 21-year-old will now extend his contract by another year to 2022. He has been given an improved salary and he will have another year to develop playing regularly for one of the best teams in Germany.
