UK Parliament Attacked, 3 Dead, Several Injured as Trump Condoles with Victims’ Family

The UK Parliament was thrown into panic on Wednesday afternoon, following an attack by an unknown assailant who drove over several pedestrians in front of the UK parliament, killing three persons, with many still in critical condition.

The assailant was said to have also entered into the building and stabbed a policeman to death.

The White House has however condemned the attacks in London involving the car rampage and knife attack as President Donald Trump is said to be monitoring developments.

Spokesman Sean Spicer said Wednesday that the White House applauds “the quick response of British police and first responders” and condemns the attacks.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was said to have also released a statement on the incident:

“On behalf of the United States, I express my condolences to the victims and their families,” he said.

“The American people send their thoughts and prayers to the people of the United Kingdom. We condemn these horrific acts of violence.”
