Siasia adds Owolabi to Rio Olympics squad

Nigeria U-23 boss Samson Siasia has added Nyokobing forward Olajide Owolabi to his provisional squad for the 2016 Olympics football event.
The 21-year-old was part of the Dream Team VI’s squad for the All Africa Games and the AFCON U-23 Championship but his team failed to release him.
Before that, injury ruled him out of Manu Garba’s squad to the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
Siasia had earlier submitted a provisional list of 60 players to the Nigeria Football Federation, but he is still adding new discoveries to the list, as he aims to find the solid squad to the games.
