Saadu eyes NNL top scorers’ chart

Crown FC striker, Isah Saadu has said his personal target is to emerge the highest goal scorer in the on-going Nigeria’s second tier league.
The diminutive marksman has inked his name on the goal chart with four goals in the nine-week old second tier league.

The Ajilete Warriors are the guests of Bendel Insurance in today’s Nigeria National League (NNL) matchday 10 clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
Saadu said the encounter provides him with the rare opportunity to further increase his goal tally in the league as well as chance for the side to get hold at the summit.

“My target is to become the NNL goal king at the end of the on-going league.
“I have scored four goals in nine matches I hope to work hard to sustain the goal scoring ability.

“I feel the clash at Bendel Insurance offers me a golden opportunity to widen my goal tally.
“I know quite well that the success of the team will further drive my own chance of realising the top scorer’s dream.

“We have done perfectly well in the last three matches against Akwa Starlets, AS Racine and Bayelsa United so we want to further extend the winning aura at Insurance,” said Saadu to supersport.com.

The Ogbomosho landlords are second on the Southern Conference log on 19 points same as leaders, Go-Round FC but on inferior goals.
