Roy Okonkwo inducted as the 109th Global Tech hero by the connected Awards

Roy Okonkwo, an esteemed AI and Cybersecurity specialist at Deloitte United States, has been named the 109th recipient of The Connected Awards’ Global Tech Hero certification.

This prestigious recognition celebrates Roy’s outstanding contributions, innovative leadership, and transformative impact in the technology and cybersecurity sectors.

Joining the ranks of distinguished professionals, Roy becomes the 15th honoree in the Security category, alongside notable figures such as Anna Enuma Ezegbu, Ceasar Waweru, Daniel Ademeso, Folaranmi Abolade Felix, Iheanacho Samuel Chukwu, Jentle Emmanuel Esuong, Mumuni Mohammed, Olajide Claudius-Akinyemi, Olufemi Adeleye, Onuorah Mary, Prince Coumba Ndoffene DIOUF, Terpase Gagher, Yackson Oluwasesan, and Abiodun Olaniyan.

Peers and mentors have lauded Roy’s technical brilliance and visionary leadership. Abisiga Mojeed, a fellow Global Tech Hero, described him as “an extraordinary talent whose groundbreaking work in AI-driven cybersecurity, particularly in zero-day ransomware detection, sets him apart.
