Raphael Gnn Shares The Mantra To Catapult Yourself From Rock Bottom To The Top

Jeanette Coron once wrote, “You can work your whole life for a company that doesn’t care one thing about you. You can work for other people’s success and dreams, and build their future and legacy for their family.
Or you can instead work for your own success and build your way to the top and leave a lasting legacy for yourself and your family. The choice is yours.”
For Raphael such a choice was a no-brainer. He decided long ago that the only person he was going to work for was himself and he’d do whatever it took to make that dream a reality.
“I took a lot of jobs that my heart wasn’t really in when I was younger,” explained Raphael. “I stacked shelves in supermarkets and drove packages around for Deliveroo.
You name it if there was a buck to be earned I was happy to put in the time and effort, but it was always a means to an end.”
That end involved Raphael breaking out on his own and setting up his own digital marketing agency. At just 18-years-of-age the odds were stacked against Raphael.
He had no mentor, no investment, other than the cash he had managed to squirrel away from his previous jobs, and no business partners to help share the load. All he had was his, wits, his resourcefulness, and a burning desire to succeed.
Raphael explained, “The field I was venturing into, social media marketing, is a hugely competitive one, but I had made it my business to study the sector inside and out.
I also had the innovation and daring of youth on my side. In other words, I was willing to take risks and play for the biggest stakes.”
Raphael’s gamble to go it alone paid off. His agency, Ace Up Media has already generated over two million in sales. He now employs a team of 12 and has even bigger plans for the future.
Raphael said, “Ace Up Media is now recognized on an international stage and is a hugely successful and leading digital agency. That’s a massive buzz and something that makes all the hard work worth it.
I pretty much came from the bottom with no professional qualifications or connection, just a lot of ambition and a lot of ideas. I feel fortunate to be born into what I consider an age of opportunity.
Technology has empowered us all and given everyone the chance to be their own boss and build a better life for themselves. The tools are there, all you need to do is pick them up.”
