Quality products, Innovative accessories & Impeccable Customer Experience define Higher Standards

Higher Standards is a cannabis lifestyle shop that started in the Chelsea Market of New York City in 2017.

It sells accessories for preparing and consuming cannabis, and it’s expanding into the dispensary market in states where marijuana use is legalized.

The brand aims to provide an elevated smoking experience for people who live a grandiose lifestyle.

At Higher Standards, you can get a retail tutorial in how to vape, grind, decarboxylate (roasting cannabis buds), press, dab, roll, and hoard cannabis.

The shop’s trained employees are highly educated on the products they sell, as well as all the details about the cannabis world as a whole.

Inside the store, there’s no cannabis, but it sells a wide variety of accessories for cannabis including heavy-duty glassware, hemp wraps, and cones and accessories including ashtrays and cleaning kits.

Higher Standards not only sells its own company products inside the store, but it also provides cannabis accessories and tools from well-known brands like Storz & Bickel, LEVO, Grav Labs, Puffco, Tree Trunk, and PAX.

Due to the fact that Higher Standards is not a dispensary, it is not required to keep its accessories behind glass.

Therefore, store customers gain an ultra-elevated shopping experience.

This is all a part of the genius concept and branding that’s behind Higher Standards, especially considering that cannabis is still illegal in the state of New York.

“As consumers continue to be educated about cannabis and begin to see cannabis more easily integrated into their lives, we’ll start seeing cannabis brands targeted specifically and successfully at the luxury consumer,” says Higher Standards General Manager Eric Hammond.

In addition to the flagship store at Chelsea Market in Manhattan, Higher Standards is opening another brick and mortar this spring.

Its second storefront location will be at the Ponce City Market shopping mall in Atlanta, Georgia.

Its doors will open April 20th. Higher Standards chose Atlanta for its expansion because of its booming and diverse culture.

The colorful and lively city has an undeniable influence on pop culture, so it only makes sense that a cannabis brand would join the party.

The innovative brand prides itself on bringing a luxurious and upscale vibe to the cannabis industry.

“For us luxury cannabis is about accessible luxury — not exclusive access, and certainly not exclusion,” says Hammond. “It’s about an experience, not a price point.

We sell all of our products at competitive prices, but we try and provide an elevated, luxurious experience around them, and we hope that they enhance and elevate our customers’ self-care rituals at home, both through the quality and beauty of the products and by providing the tools and encouragement to keep them clean.”

It’s clear that the cannabis industry, along with the centuries old stigma about it, is evolving immensely.

With a brand like Higher Standards and a growing interest in the products they sell, cannabis is becoming an accepted and “normal” part of many different kinds of people’s everyday lives.
