How PSG could line up in their Champions League clash with Basel

Javier Pastore and Thiago Motta are both missing for the French side, which means Unai Emery could hand opportunities to Hatem Ben Arfa and Adrien Rabiot
Since the selection of Blaise Matuidi as a surprise starter on the left-hand side was leaked ahead of PSG’s Matchday One meeting with Arsenal, Unai Emery has kept his cards a little closer to his chest during subsequent pre-game build-ups.
As a result, the Spaniard has divulged little information to his players ahead of Wednesday’s meeting with Basel, while looking to keep the assembled press guessing at his final training session.
He does have various options to consider in midweek, which is helping to keep everyone on their toes, but Javier Pastore (calf) and Thiago Motta (glutes) will definitely be missing for the French champions.
Looking at how PSG lined up during their final practice session, Adrien Rabiot and Hatem Ben Arfa could have a role to play, with both men in need of game time.
Emery could decide to keep the faith with those who have helped PSG to three successive victories, over Ludogorets, Bordeaux and Nancy, but he does have considerable experience at his disposal.
Angel Di Maria, Serge Aurier, Layvin Kurzawa and Maxwell were all missing at the weekend, but all four are back in contention after a period of rest.
