Policemen rescue motorists attacked by armed robbers along Okene Highway

The National Co-ordinator and founding Chairman of Human Rights Writers’ Association of Nigeria, Emmanuel Onwubiko and his family were attacked by armed robbers along Okene road. According to Mr Onwubiko, the robbers shot at his car several times. To his pleasant surprise, policemen rescued his people and escorted them to Lokoja, Kogi state capital. God is good. My car was shot at several times around Okenne Federal Highway today’s afternoon by dare devil armed robbers but my driver managed to escape. Nigeria Police Force did the unthinkable by coming to the rescue of my people who were attacked and provided free escort services to Lokoja before heading back. Thank God for His magnanimity and Divine protection,Today I have another view of the police.he wrote.
