Plateau lawmaker certificate forgery case stalled

The alleged certificate forgery rocking the member representing Jos North-North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Baba Hassan, was on Wednesday stalled as the matter is yet to receive hearing at the Federal High Court, sitting in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
The Counsel, Bar. David C. Ibeawuchi, standing in for the plaintiff, Abdulnasir Saleh, who dragged Hon. Baba Hassan to court over a certificate forgery and election irregularities, told Journalists after the court session that the certificate issue was not mentioned in court because the processes has not yet been adopted.
Ibeawuchi said that when the processes is fully adopted, the exhibit (letter from the university that indicted Hon. Baba Hassan) will be attached.
Hon. Justice Musa Haruna Kurya, the Judge who presided over the matter in a suit no FHC/J/CS/2015, however, granted the prayer of the first defendant Counsel, Barr. Solomon Umoh on the fresh application to enable him regularise and harmonise some of his points in the proceeding.
