PDP kicks against appointment of SSAs for Kogi LGAs
Lokoja – The Kogi Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says the appointment of 21 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) by Gov. Yahaya Bello to take charge of the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state was illegal.
Mr Dickson Achadu, the state PDP Director of Research and Documentation said this in a statement in Lokoja on Friday.
Achadu said the appointment was also unconstitutional.
He expressed shock that the State Government, having run the councils for four years with illegally constituted administrators, could turn round to reappointment same people as SSAs.

“We therefore call on the Inspector -General of Police to be proactive by investigating the motives behind the appointments,” he said.
Bello had on Thursday, appointed 21 SSAs to take charge of the affairs in all the 21 LGAs of the state
