Pakistan’s Chief of the Naval Staff visits Nigeria

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi have arrived the country for two days official visit to some military establishments.

The visit is in line with the ongoing efforts to foster cooperation with navies of allied countries, especially in the areas of capacity building and mutual cooperation between the Pakistan Navy and the Nigerian Navy.

A statement signed by Commodore Suleman Dahun for the Chief of the Naval Staff stated that during the two day official visit, Admiral Abbasi will hold bilateral discussions with CNS , Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas.

The visiting Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Admiral Abbasi will also pay courtesy calls on the minister of Defence, Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali as well as the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin.

Thereafter, Admiral Abbasi will proceed to Lagos to visit NNS QUORRA, Western Naval Command and Naval Dockyard Limited .
