Obaseki, Game Changer -Ex-Edo Commissioner

Washington Osifo, the former Commissioner for Energy and Water Resources in Edo State, has praised the former governor of the state, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole for his support for the emergence of Godwin Obaseki as his successor.

In a chat with Daily Times in Benin city, Osifo said that the emergence of the acclaimed technocrat was God ordained.

According to him, “the emergence of Godwin Obaseki as governor of Edo State was ordained. He has always been with the Comrade governor and has been a key figure in the policy formulation of the state.”

“Contrary to some claims the new governor is not a greenhorn in politics. He is a game changer.”

“Edo people should give him a chance to actualise his dreams for a better Edo State, ” he stressed.”

He added that Obaseki, from all calculations, is the right choice to give Edo State the desired growth.

Osifo also have good words for the deputy governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu.

He described the ex-reps man as a pillar of strength in the fight for the return of democracy in Nigeria.
