NAHCON pays condolence visit to Saudi Embassy

The outgoing Chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad, accompanied by the incoming NAHCON Chairman, Barrister Zikrullahi Hassan, today, on Tuesday, led some senior management staff of the commission to pay a condolence visit to the Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia in Nigeria, Mr. Muhammad Fauzan, over the sudden demise of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Mr. Adnaan Bostaji.

Barrister Abdullahi Muhammad declared that they were still in a state of shock over the news. He extended condolence on behalf of NAHCON to the embassy staff and entire family of late Amb Bostaji over the loss.

Barr. Mukhtar admitted that the Late Ambassador will be missed, eulogising him as a wonderful person, diplomatic, caring, had a professional ambiance and a complete gentleman.

The Acting Chairman prayed for the gentle rest of Mr. Bostaji’s soul and for the Almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdous.

 Earlier, the Deputy Ambassador described the death as overwhelming, shocking, unexpected and appreciated them for their prompt condolence visit. This, he said, exemplifies the kindness of the Nigerian people, their high ethical standard, and their high class. He noted that to identify with the embassy in this time of bereavement is a kind deed and very encouraging indeed.

A general prayer for the bereaved to bear the loss and for the repose of the soul of the deceased was offered by Dr. Danbaba Haruna of NAHCON’s Visa Unit.
