LASU gets new Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic

Professor Adewale Olumuyiwa K. Noah of the Faculty of Education, Lagos State University, has emerged as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor, (Academic) of the university.
Prof. Noah polled seventy-five (75) votes to beat Professor Senapon Bak’re of the Faculty of Science, who garnered a total of 29 votes. Two votes cast were declared null and void.
A total number of one hundred and six ballot papers were circulated to accredited members of the University Senate who voted in the election.
With this development, Prof. A.O.K. Noah has become the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the Lagos State University, effective from Thursday, August 25, 2016 for a term of two years.
