Lagos Judicial panel awards N7.5 million to petitioner for police brutality
A petitioner, Marc Chidibere Nwadi, was awarded N7.5 million by a Lagos State judicial panel hearing cases of police misconduct and SARS-related abuses.
Chidiebere Nwadi first testified before the panel on Saturday, November 28. He said that he has despised Nigerian police since 1999.
The 39-year-old, who did not have legal representation, explained how the Nigerian police put an end to his dream of being a journalist.
