Lady mobbed to death over lesbianism, partner declared wanted

A lady, Miss Chidinma Eze has been beaten to death by a mob in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Chidinma and her partner, 29-year-old lady, Miss Omeke Chisom Rosemary, from Amaube Community, in Lejja, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State were caught red handed engaging in lesbianism.

A native, who preferred anonymity, disclosed that “we have always suspected them of being lesbians. This is because of the kind of lifestyle they live.

“Two of them are always together and most times they will go into the house, even at noon and bolt the door.

“So, the community vigilante group has been monitoring their movement.

“On that ill-fated day, 14th February, 2023, they came in as usual, but unknown to them, a villager was monitoring their movement.

“As soon as they started the illegal act, the villager alerted the youths and community vigilante, who barged into the room and started beating them.”

It was gathered that while Chisom escaped by the whiskers, her partner, Chidinma was not lucky as she was dragged to the village square, where her clitoris was caught and she bled to death.

The Chairman of the community’s town union, Chief Alphonsus Asogwa confirmed that Chisom has been banished.

“We cannot associate with someone who committed such an abominable act; it is taboo in our land for a woman to make love with a fellow woman or a man with a fellow man.

“She desecrated our land and for that, we will never have anything to do with her again.

“The option for her is to come and appease the gods, which includes dancing naked in the market square, among other things,” Asogwa said.

Also confirming the incident, a senior police officer in the Enugu State Police Command told our correspondent that, “We have already launched a manhunt for her because the crime she committed attracts several years of jail.”

Meanwhile, Chisom’s brother, Mr Ugochukwu Omeke in an affidavit sworn before an Enugu State High Court, also confirmed that she is a chronic lesbian.

The affidavit was sworn to before the Notary Public Office, Enugu, on 25th day of October, 2023

He said in the affidavit of facts that “Miss Omeke Chisom Rosemary is my junior sister, the same mother & father. She is a lesbian and she is only attracted to female genders and she loves having sex with her fellow girls.

“It started during her secondary school career, even the school authorities used to beat her and pour grinded pepper in her virgina but she still continued with her lesbian acts.

“That on the 14th day of February, 2023, Miss Chisom Omeke and her lover, lesbian girlfriend, Chidinma Ezeh were having sex and moaning in her bedroom when someone heard the sound and secretly alerted some youths in my community.

“The youths of the community and the vigilantes came to our front door and forced it open and caught both of them naked having sex, immediately they started beating both of them with sticks and some sharp objects. The youths dragged both of them outside our compound to the road side.

“That Chisom Omeke fell down after serious beating and became unconscious, why Chidinma Ezeh was bleeding all over her body and one of the wicked youth cut off her clitoris and she died due to too much bleeding from her virgina.

“That the chairman of our community town union, Chief Alphonsus Asogwa came to the scene and was shouting that this is a taboo in Igboland and in our land we cannot associate with lesbians/homosexuals.

“Then a good Samaritan called the Nigeria Police and immediately the youths saw the police and they fled from the scene.

“The Nigerian Police took them to the hospital (U.N.T.H) Enugu, where she was receiving treatment, while the body of her lesbian girlfriend was taken away by the family.

“That on the 16th day of February, 2023, she was discharged and I brought her to my house at Isuawa.

“Then on the 20th day of February, 2023, upon the information given to them by the Nsukka youth that my sister Chisom Omeke who is staying with me is a lesbian, Isuawa Youths came to my resident shouting that I should bring out my lesbian sister Chisom unless they will destroy my properties and burn down my house.

“Fortunately, I sent her to buy some food stuff for me.

“IImmediately the youths forced me out from my door and entered inside my flat and searched for Chisom but they found nothing and one of them took a picture of me saying that they will send it to their shrine and they left my house.

“I called my sister and informed her then she switched off her phone and ran to an unknown place and since then threats have been coming to my family. Then on 21 February, 2023 I went to Nigeria police to report the incident.

“That I know that Chisom Omeke continued her lesbian activities and that the Nigeria Police, youths of Isuawa and Nsukka are looking for her.

“That she can only escape from the grip of police and even the general public if she is granted asylum outside of Nigeria, hence this affidavit.”
