Jadon Sancho will not be sold — Borussia Dortmund chief tells Man Utd

The sporting director of Bourssia Dortmund, Michael Zorc has told Manchester United that Jadon Sancho will not be sold this summer and claims the winger’s contract was secretly extended to 2023 last year.
Sancho is United’s priority target for the summer, and reports claim that the 20-year-old has already agreed a £220,000-a-week deal with the club.
Dortmund, however, is standing firm over Sancho’s €120 million (£107.8m) asking price, and United has so far been unable to reach an agreement with the Bundesliga club as it aims to fund the deal by paying in instalments.
Daily Times had reported that Manchester United’s bid to sign English sensation, Jadon Sancho, hit a brick-wall following Borrusia Dortmund’s determination not to budge on their £108m valuation of the player.

Dortmund had set a deadline of August 10 for United to complete a deal for Sancho as that date marked the start of their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
Sancho joined up with his teammates for Monday’s training session in Bad Ragaz and Dortmund are now telling United that a deal for the England international will not go through this summer. “We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season,” Zorc told reporters at the team’s training camp on Monday afternoon.
“The decision is final; I think that answers all of the questions.” Zorc also revealed that Dortmund had extended Sancho’s contract by another year last summer. “Last summer, we adjusted Jadon’s salary to match the development of his performances,” said Zorc. “So in context, we had already extended his contract until 2023 back then.”
