Isuzu introduces KB250 special edition

Special edition bakkies are usually based on the top-end models that not many can afford, but Isuzu has taken a more budget-friendly approach with its new X-Rider.

The new edition is based on the KB250 turbodiesel Hi-Rider 4×2 and you can have one in Double Cab or Extended Cab form. Both X-Rider derivatives come with numerous extras (inside and out) to stand apart from the regular KB crowd.

On the outside, the edition is distinguished by 18-inch black ‘diamond-cut’ alloy wheels as well as a sports bar and tubular side steps, both in black, LED daytime running lights, an uprated towbar (with a braked towing capacity of 2.1 tons) and the obligatory X-Rider body decals.

Inside it has leather seats (yes, embroidered with X-Rider logos) as well as a leather-covered multi-function steering wheel, both featuring red stitching, and piano black inlays can be found on the doors and in various places on the dashboard.

Both models are fitted with the ‘High Output’ (as in 100 kW/320Nm) version of Isuzu’s 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine.
