Imama rallies Rangers against Lobi

Enugu Rangers head coach Imama Amapakabo has made it clear that his team “need to now concentrate” on their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game against Lobi Stars at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium today.

Amapakabo watched as his men scraped past Algerian side JS Saoura on goal difference to reach the first round of the CAF Champions League.

That was after a 0-0 draw in the return leg in Nigeria.
He now believes focusing on the home front is equally important.

The former Nigeria youth international goalkeeper acknowledged that his team still have lots of work to do to improve as the season continues.

“We need to now concentrate on our rescheduled matches in the league starting with Lobi Stars today.
“We have qualified for the next round of the Champions League. But we must work harder in all ramifications,” Amapakabo stated.

The Nigerian champions, who have not won a game in five matches (all competitions), currently occupy bottom position and have six points. Rangers have three outstanding games against Lobi Stars (home), 3SC (away) and Kano Pillars (home).
