IGP must appear before commission to answer for his sins – PDP

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has said the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris must appear before a Commission to account for all his deeds against innocent Nigerians when his pay masters leave office in few months time. The PDP said the IGP has been doing the bid of President Muhammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC), government by intimidating and harassing members of the opposition who dares to oppose the ruling party. Speaking on Saturday in Jos at the PDP presidential rally, the party’s National Chairman Hon. Uche Secondos, said the APC is also planning to kill Senator Dino Melaye. “The IGP must appear before a Commission both in Nigeria and abroad when he leaves office, to answer for all the heinous act he has done in favour of President Buhari and the APC. He must answer for what he has been doing to Senator Dino Melaye and other Nigerians who dares to speak against the APC”, Secondus said. However the party’s presidential hopeful former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, said if voted to power in the coming elections, his party will restore the much eluded peace in the state. Atiku who’s campaign trip shot down activities in Jos, tasked the people of Plateau to promise him that they will vote out the APC. He also called on President Buhari to free Senator Dino, cheering the crowd with a song “free Dino, free Dino”, he chants. The highlight of the event however was the defection of a Member of the Federal House of Representative, Hon. Edward Gyang Pwajok, representing Jos South and Jos East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, an APC member who was officially received back into the Peoples Democratic Party.
