Hazard: Chelsea squad behind under-fire Conte

The former Italy coach is the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked with some bookmakers, but the Belgian attacker has backed his boss
Eden Hazard has backed Chelsea’s under-fire manager Antonio Conte amid speculation the Italian’s job is under threat.
The Blues have had a mixed start to life under the former Italy boss, winning four, drawing one and losing two of his first seven Premier League fixtures, leaving the club five points from top spot.
And, though some bookmakers had Conte as the favourite to be the next top-flight manager to be sacked, Hazard believes he will lead the club to success.
“He is good. We started well with three wins, then we suffered two defeats after the international break and then we won again,” Hazard said. “He has tried to bring confidence to the players.
“We are fit because we ran a lot in pre-season! You need to do this to stay at the top. We want to improve with this manager.”
