Gov Ahmed praises Kwara Monarchs for peaceful coexistence

Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has commended royal fathers in Kwara North Senatorial district for maintaining peace and harmony in the zone and the state at large.

Governor Ahmed gave this commendation on Tuesday when he hosted the royal fathers at the Government House, Ilorin.

According to Gov Ahmed, the royal fathers are playing critical roles in stabilising the zone as well as ensuring success of government programmes and policies in the region.

Governor Ahmed urged the Nigeria Police to do more in tackling various security challenges across the country by collaborating more with the traditional rulers whom he said are custodians of values and traditions of the various communities rather than playing politics with the lives of the people.
