Fuel tanker collides with passenger bus in Osun

Barely 24 hours to the occurrence of an auto-crash that claimed no fewer than 10 lives in Osun state, another fuel tanker on Monday morning collided with a mini bus popularly called Korope.

The accident happened at the popular Olaiya junction in Osogbo, the Osun state capital with no life lost.

It was gathered that the tanker lost control and rammed into an electric pole on the high way.

The tanker, which was coming from the Odi Olowo end of the road, was not fuel laden.

The tanker also rammed into a mini bus popularly known as Korope parked at the other end of the road just before the Olaiya junction damaging the vehicle to an extent.

As at the time of filing in this report, efforts are on by concerned individuals to evacuate the two vehicles so as to avoid gridlock on the road.
