Fire Razes Banky W’s Home in Lekki

A property located along Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos where popular singer, Banky W, lives has been destroyed by fire.

Eye witness at the scene said neighbor that the fire was caused by a faulty air conditioner.

The fire was believed to have started around 6am.

A resident said, “The fire started around 6am and all of us came out to assist Banky in putting out the fire.

“However the Fire service that was contacted didn’t arrive but those at the scene were luckily able to put off the fire on time. Fire service officials arrived over an hour late around 7.30.

“Contrary to reports on social media, the house wasn’t destroyed by fire but So many items were destroyed including Banky’s awards.”
