FG tasks on security of Nigerians

The Federal Government has been called upon to intensify efforts towards making sure that the high rate of insecurity across the Country is permanently addressed.
The Executive Secretary, Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Mr. Nuvulga Dan Abu stated this while speaking exclusively with Daily Times in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
Dan Abu noted that high rate of insecurity across the Country is the reason behind over 70 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Camps in the State.
He added that if the Government at the Federal level fails to intervene urgently, the 2019 general election may be affected, stressing that many people will be disenfranchised.
The Executive Secretary also advised the IDPs currently taking refuge at various Camps in Jalingo not to depend on Government alone for their livelihood.
