Family Under Siege As Teenager Runs To Avoid Cult Initiation

A teenage student identified as Aimiuwu Derick is reportedly on the run after suspected armed members of Neo Black Movement also known as Black Axe (Ayes) threatened to eliminate him and his family after several failed attempts to lure him into the extremely dangerous cult group.

The dreaded cultists, according to information made available, had been on his trail from his senior secondary education days in the month of September 2020 at Jacksonville Academy situated along Ekewan Road, Benin City.

As recent escalation of cult clashes in the state had compelled different cult groups to woo naive and innocent teenagers as “foot soldiers” to execute orders as it relates to cult rivalry and clashes.

it was gathered that dangerous members of the cult group within his community were well aware of danger inherent in losing more of its members to the incessant killings during cult war hence the need to initiate new members into the group.

Confirmed reports in the community
however revealed that on several occasions, after sporadic gunshots in the community managed to gain access to his apartment where they encountered Derick’s Aimiuwu parents with dangerous weapons including guns and machetes but were said to have met his absence.

An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said the cultists shot sporadically into the atmosphere before they gained access to his apartment but were told by his parents that he was not at home.

It was said that the cultists, after accessing his apartment, unleashed terror on members of the family by inflicting machete wounds on them while threatening not to spare any members of the family in their next visit should they not be able to locate the whereabouts of Aimiuwu Derick.

Some of the cultists have influential link to top politicians within and outside the state where they are often used as thugs and in most cases as hired professional assassinst .

Meanwhile, following a recent visit to Derick’s Aimiuwu family house in Benin City, the cultists were said to have attacked and destroyed every property and belongings of the family during their visit after it was confirmed that Derick Aimiuwu and his family members had abandoned their home and fled to escape the wrath of the angry cultists who vowed to eliminate every member of the family whenever and wherever he was seen around as the whereabouts of their target Derick Aimiuwu however remained unknown to anyone in the community.
