Enyeama: I can still play football at highest level

Vincent Enyeama has maintained that even though he was not given a contract by French Ligue 1 club Dijon, he could still play at the highest level.
The 36-year-old Enyeama trained with Dijon for five days, but was eventually not given a contract.
However, the former Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain said his time with the club has boosted his confidence that he can still man the post at the top level.
“I want to thank the people of DFCO for the warm and excellent reception and the opportunity they gave me to train with their first team,” the former Lille shot stopper said on Instagram.
“It was a wonderful period that made me realise that I can still play football at the highest level. I can still win matches and trainings for my side…
“The players, the coaches, the medical staff were very wonderful. I have only good words and memories of you guys. I wish you guys all the best for the season.”
Enyeama is seeking a comeback after he was out of the game for almost two years partly due to a knee injury.
