Environment Commissioner showers encomiums on Ekwueme

The Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Ecology and Beautification, Dr. Romanus Ejikeme, has described late Dr. Alex Ekwueme as political juggernaut and a leader with many parts.

Dr. Ejikeme, who spoke to media in Awka on life and times of the nation’s former Vice-President, said Nigerians had a lot to learn from him ranging from his love for Education, and hard work.

The commissioner, who hails from Uga in Anambra South Senatorial zone, where Dr. Ekwueme hailed, said he was proud to be associated with elder statesman.

He noted that Dr. Ekwueme was one of the architects of the development of Abuja capital territory and deserved to be immortalised.
