Enugu council organises ethical training for workers

The authorities of the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State have organised a training workshop titled “Civil Service ethics and moral”, for all the workers of the council.
The resource person, Mr. Emmanuel Ezeugwu, who is the head of primary healthcare in the council urged workers to always exhibit good ethical conduct which earned most workers promotions and good recommendations.
He also advised workers to shun all forms of corruption as they impeded their progress.
According to Ezeugwu, “lies, dishonesty, bribery and corruption, are what slow down your promotions and lead to dismissal from service.
“Obey your heads of department and those in higher authority if you also want to be a leader,” he advised.
Ezeugwu, who would be retiring from service at the end of March, urged workers to be punctual and dedicated to their duties in order to justify their monthly salary.
‘In whatever you are doing, remember that God is watching,” he said
The Caretaker Chairperson of the council, Prof. Rose Onah, said the seminar was organised to acquaint workers with their duties so as to carry them out efficiently in order to increase productivity.
