Emir Laud Buhari for restoring peace, security

The Emir of Wase and President of Wase Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Dr Muhammad Sambo Haruna, on Thursday, said that part of President Mohammadu Buhari’s achievement in his two years in office is the success gained in restoring peace in the northeast by degrading the deadly sect known as Boko Haram.
The Emir said that the 18th Democracy Day cannot not be celebrated without mentioning the peace that now exist in the northeast that was hitherto Boko Haram enclave, not to mention the recent release of the 84 Chibok girls captured by the sect.
He also congratulate Governor Simon Lalong for the giant strides gained in restoring Plateau to its famous home of peace and tourism, saying that the restoration of peace in the state is an invaluable achievement, noting that progress and security of lives and property is the biggest and most significant achievement any worthwhile government can work for.
In a press release from the Wase Emirate Council, the Emir also commended President Buhari for his focused leadership which has been able to reposition the country and saved the economy from total collapse.
According to the Emir who is also the Plateau State Chairman of the Jamatul Nasril Islam (JNI), said the Buhari government has not disappointed or failed Nigerians, especially considering the difficult circumstances that were dominant in the national space when he took over power two years ago.
The Emir in the release also paid special tribute to the President for his determined and gallant fight against corruption, and the success recorded so far in the huge and staggering sums of money recovered.
He also called on all well meaning Nigerians, especially the Muslim faithfuls observing the Ramadan fast, to pray for the speedy recovery of the President as he recuperates from health challenges.
