Some 1,925,105 voters on Wednesday went to various polling booths in 18 local government areas of Edo State to elect a new governor, in what many have described as a big power fight between the PDP and the APC.

The PDP has Ize-Iyamu, a pastor, lawyer, politician and farmer as its candidate while the APC has Mr. Godwin Obaseki, a businessman and politician.
