A middle-aged man, Onoh Solomon Onyeka, from Nsude, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State has been declared wanted by men of the Enugu State Police Command over his alleged membership of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
IPOB, a pro-secessionist group has been pushing for the creation of Biafra out of Nigeria.
However, there has been a series of clampdowns on the group by the Nigerian Government, which insists that the unity of the country is not negotiable.
Recently, Onoh Solomon Onyeka, was among those identified as the ring leaders of IPOB in Enugu State.

The State Police Command said it uncovered that Solomon was among those listed to partake in a recent clash between the IPOB members and security agencies in Izombe, Imo State.
In a bulletin made available to journalists, Solomon and three others from Enugu State- Ejike Aniago, Christian Eze and Nwome Chika “are wanted for their active involvement in the activities of outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
“Any person with useful information on their whereabouts should report to the nearest police station.”
Efforts to reach the suspects by our correspondent failed. However, a fresh twist emerged when a sister to one of the suspects, Onoh Nnena Solomon, told our correspondent that Solomon was facing double jeopardy.
Although she admitted that Solomon was a member of IPOB, she disclosed that he (Solomon), was at the same time being hunted by the IPOB for refusing to take part in the Izombe clash.
According to Solomon’s sister, Onoh Nnena Solomon, “the IPOB members have attacked our house on two occasions in the last two weeks.
“They branded my brother a saboteur for not taking part in the Izombe attack. The last time they came here, they threatened to set our house ablaze if we didn’t produce him, but we told them we don’t know his whereabouts.”
She said to make matters worse, the police have equally declared Solomon wanted over his IPOB membership.
“At this moment, we are just confused; we fear so much for his safety,” Nnena lamented.
